Indications: Cough and cold, sinusitis, nasal and chest congestion, sore throat, loss of appetite, tastelessness etc.

Vataka’ is a dosage form that is best compared to a chewable. Vyoshadi vataka is a traditional recipe wherein Kapha balancing drugs like Vyosha (the three pungent namely (Dry ginger, Black pepper, Long pepper) are made into a chewable form in a sweet jaggery base.

It is beneficial in acute and chronic cases of sinusitis, recurrent cough and cold, sore throat and respiratory congestion. The formula starts working from the oral cavity, by stimulating the taste buds and thereby the entire digestive process. Relieves sore throat and nasal congestion.

Chewable granules of a combination of Vyosha (Zingiber officinale, Piper longum, Piper nigrum ), Taleesapatra (Abies webbiana), Chitraka (Plumbago zeylanica), Tintrinika (Tamarindus indica), Ela (Elettaria cardamomum), Chavya (Piper Chaba), Jeeraka (Cuminum cyminum), Tweak (Cinnamomum Verum), and Patra (Cinnamomum Tamala) in a sweet jaggery base.
Chewed in small quantities frequently, it relieves sore throat and prevents further infection and disease.
Expels vitiated phlegm from the respiratory tract. Relieves nasal and chest congestion.
Beneficial in the treatment of acute and chronic sinusitis, cough and cold.
Stimulates taste buds and encourages secretion of digestive juices. Effective in treating loss of appetite and tastelessness.
